This is a real gem! Perfect for all year round living, with glorious views across the enchanting village of Melegís and surrounding Sierras.
'La Casa de la Fuente' is named after the small basin and fountain on the lovely covered verandah. There is a large cage of canaries beside the fountain, and colourful plants climb up the supporting pillars of the verandah, making it fragrant, lush and cool. Steps lead down to the landscaped garden, pool and the citrus orchard beyond; the garden is lawned, with flowering bushes and a variety of trees.
Melegís is a village of secluded patios, secret gardens and concealed orchards. Its narrow streets are lined with whitewashed facades, masquerading as normal village houses - but behind you are likely to find a vine-shaded courtyard with a pool and a mass of bougainvillea, jasmine and citrus trees.
