Superbly situated at an altitude of 500m with breath-taking views on all sides overlooking the Peillon Valley, these two delightful mas are part of the stone wing of the owners' magnificent manor house dating back to the 15th century, set above the small peaceful village of Chateauneuf-Villevieille. They have been carefully renovated and tastefully decorated in authentic style creating comfortable holiday homes. Surrounded by stunning countryside, they enjoy shared use of 2.5 acres of beautifully tranquil grounds with their fountains, olive and various fruit trees, and the superb swimming pool. The charming owners (he is an internationally known artist) provide a selection of carefully selected wines from their ancient wine cellar, as well as home-made jams. Less than a 30 minute drive away is the famous French Riviera - over 70km of coastline lined with expensive hotels and huge yachts moored at each resort. Cannes, world-famous for its international film festival, is also well known for the millionaires and film and music stars who holiday here, making it the perfect spot for celebrity-spotting! The capital of the Riviera, Nice, has a great night-life and is also ideal for shopping and sightseeing. Equally as accessible as Nice is the Parc de Mercantour in the mountains, or the numerous museums and historic sites between Menton and Cannes.
