This large house is set opposite the church in the upper part of the mediaeval village of Limeuil, one of "Les Beaux Villages" of France. Limeuil is situated at the confluence of the Dordogne and Vézère rivers and has a charming collection of café/restaurants, a boulangerie and craft shops. The ornate doorways and substantial buildings indicate that it was also a prosperous little town since the two rivers were important thoroughfares for the trading of the region's main commodities of walnuts, wood and wine. For serious walkers the area around Limeuil and Paunat is criss-crossed with a network of wonderful walks.
The property has a delightful walled terrace garden and a large terrace balcony which spans two sides of the house. On the ground floor the large sitting room has French doors leading out onto the terrace whilst the second, smaller sitting room faces the courtyard garden.
