Property description
This pleasant stone-built farmhouse dates back to 1870 and has been restored to retain its original character. The cosy, welcoming interior has been tastefully decorated and features wooden beams and an open fire. Although semi-detached, the gardens surrounding the farm are large, with lawns ideal for children's games. The cottage is located in a quiet residential area on the outskirts of the village of Landudec. The village itself is very pretty and has basic facilities for shopping and a restaurant. The surrounding countryside is referred to as Bigouden country and is a favoured haunt of walking enthusiasts. There are some lovely walks around the villages of Ploudreuzic, Plogastel St. Germain and Peumérit, which is famed for its apple orchards. The coast is within easy driving distance, where there are some lovely beaches and a variety of activities available, including sailing, canoeing, fishing and windsurfing.
