Set in lovely, typical Charollais countryside with rolling hills and extensive rural views, this simple farm cottage is a very peaceful place for a holiday.
The vineyards of Burgundy and the lovely towns of Cluny and Paray-le-Monial make good day trips out. Down the lane there is access to a small pond suitable for fishing, and a small lake where one can swim about 1.5 km away.
There are a few steps up to the interior, which is rustic yet comfortable. The spacious sitting room has old beams, flagstone floors and a huge open fireplace. Outside there is a big grassy area with flower borders, and a fine old oak tree offers shade for sitting out.
