Property Description
At only 2km from Urbino, the beautiful Renaissance town, full of cultural and historical interests, there is Villa San Martino, an excellent combination of comfort and historical characteristics. The property is a splendid antique residence, which has been recently transformed into a luxurious and charming villa. Originally from the 1200s, it was once used by the Duke of Urbino as his hunting residence and subsequently a convent. The villa is composed of a small scared church that forms part of the central area of the villa, which has been restored. Each of the various rooms of the villa have internal stone walls. On the ground floor there is a very large and luxurious living room, with beautiful doors from the 1500s painted in gold. There is also a living room with an antique fireplace. In another room there is a large jacuzzi, the doors of which can be opened to the outside. The two bedrooms are original and unique in that they both have wall decorated with frescoes from the 1300s.
The villa is surrounded by an Italian garden of 500msq within which is the swimming pool. Connected to the villa there is an area for dinning, equipped with a double brick BBQ, a large dinning table and chairs for eating outdoors.
