This beautiful stone house is situated on a country estate, 12 km from the coast and less than a kilometre from the beautiful River Coura, with its dams and watermills.
The property, with cork trees and mimosas surrounding the lawn, has a large swimming pool, pool house and changing facilities. The well established garden has many plants, shrubs, stone walls and pathways, giving the whole scene an aura of relaxation. Although the pool is shared with another cottage nearby and the owners, who occasionally visit the property next door, the front terrace is private.
Nearby Ponte de Lima, is famous for its superb old manor houses, medieval bridge and golf course. Nearer to home, the old village of Paredes de Coura is worth visiting for its beautiful buildings, river beaches and its yearly music festival.
